Material contains papers relating to J. L. Crawford's military service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Contains a letter written by Crawford in 2002 describing some men he knew and admired during the war. Contains an account written by Crawford about two Latter-Day Saint soldiers in his unit, Lee Max Webb and John Stradling. Also contains Crawford's summary of his military experience, explaining his unit's movements and assignments. He describes his regiment's liberation of Dachau. Includes photographs of Crawford and others during the war and photocopied duplicates with labels (1943-1945). Dated 1941-1946, approximately 2002.
