Material contains papers relating to Eugene Lawrence Ker's service as a rifelman in the U.S. Army infantry during World War II from 1944-1945. Described his participation in the Battle of the Bulge, getting wounded, recovery, and discharged. Contains copied photographs of Ker with others, including one with Ingrid Bergman (1944-1945). Also contains photocopies of papers from 1944 to 1945, including letters, Army documents, servicemen's edition of the Church News, LDS church directory, medical documents, newspaper articles and others. Also contains photocopied newspaper articles from 1949 and 1984. Also contains a memoir written by Ker in 2002. He gives a timeline of his military service and describes his training, injury and recovery, and the importance of his religion. Dated 1944-1945, 2002.
