Scope and Contents

Chris Edwards collected personal narratives of folklore surrounding the Hurricane Canal. Included are stories of searching for water in Hurricane Valley, building the canal, miracles and divine help that occured throughout the process, and canal songs and poems. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1989.
