This file contains correspondence from various publishers with Zane Grey regarding publishing forms of Grey's work in book and magazine article forms, dating from 1910 to 1925. Some letters request stories and others question Grey's loyalty and reliability to deliver manuscripts. Publishers include A. C. McClurg & Co., A. L. Burt Company, The American Magazine, The Bookman, Century, The Country Gentleman, Curtis Brown, D. Appleton & Company, The Delineator, Dodd, Mead and Company Publishers, The Editor, Edward J. Clode, Field and Stream, Frank A. Munsey Company, The Frontier, G. W. Dillingham Co., George H. Doran Company, The Grain Grower's Guide, Grosset & Dunlap, Harper's Weekly, Howell Company, Hughes Massie & Co., J. C. Winston Company, The National Sunday Magazine, Outdoor Life, The Page Company, The Popular Magazine, The Press Publishing Company, Recreation, Robert J. Shores, The Strand Magazine, and Street & Smith. It also includes royalty statements from McClurg & Co.
