Naluai collected stories people tell about their ancestors and discussed why they are told. Included are stories of a grandmother who dropped out of high school because she was mocked for owning no shoes, a boy with a broken leg being given a priesthood blessing and being completely healed, and a man whipping a stampede of cows and bulls out of the way for hours to protect his wagon and family from being crushed. The project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
