Scope and Contents note

Nielson collected information on drivers of cars in American Falls, Idaho, and the way they traditionally wave to each other. Included are gestures such as the pinky acknowledgement, the whole hand wave, and photographs of many different ways to wave to other drivers. The project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
