Taboos? for who? / Jennifer Holly Slemp, 1997
Scope and Contents note
Slemp collected narratives of people discussing several cultural taboos and explaining where they learned them and whether they agree with the taboo. Included are the taboos that girls should not ask on dates, that there should be no kissing on first dates, and the expectation that boys shouldn't cry. The project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University 1997.
