Materials contain an account of the combat experiences of Royal R. Meservy in the U.S. Army during World War II. Discusses his division's positions in Ardennes and on the Siegfried line. Describes being captured and taken to the Stalag IX-B prisoner-of-war camp and the living conditions, the mental stress, and fear at the camp. Devotes large portion to Meservy's involvement with religious groups in his unit. Dated 2000-2002.
