Materials contain papers regarding Douglas Farrow's military experiences as a Fire Direction Center Control Operator in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1945. Farrow briefly discusses landing in Normandy on D-Day, his faith during the war, narrow escapes during combat, and participation in the Battle of the Bulge at Luxembourg City. Also includes photocopies of money issued by the U.S. services in France and Germany; American propaganda dropped over German lines; and photographs of Farrow, his friends, and combat. Some of the propaganda is in German and has an English translation. Dated approximately 1943-1945, approximately 2001.
