Submitted by BYU student Leonard Ki Shield for his Summer 1969 Folklore 391 class. About the old wooden wheels and their continued use in American society in the 1960s. Contains a cover essay, list of informants, an introduction and the styles of wagons and wheels in the United States. Styles for the wagon include large cross-country freight wagons, heavy duty work wagons, Narrow wheeled wagons, and more, wagon wheel styles include wide rim, standard rims, and medium rims, and decorative outlines include light post toppings, flower boxes, and fences.
