Submitted by BYU student Georganna A. Huff for her Spring 1974 English 564 class. About the author's father's stories that he told himself, and that others told about him to preserve a bit of their family's tradition for future generations. Contains a cover essay, autobiograhpical sketch, informant abstracts, and informant stories. Stories include the Willow Switch, The Molasses pit when they set a trap for their teacher, experimenting with chewing tobacco as a teen, working with Indians and speaking their language, the Young family, hauling wood for a living, meeting kind Utahn strangers on his mission, and more.
