Scope and Contents

Three handwritten and signed letters, an envelope and a portrait of Bierce clipped from a magazine. Bierce writes to "The Combined Press" on 15 Dec. 1895 relating to a request for a short story. Bierce also writes to Barton O. Aylesworth on 18 Nov. 1901 in response to a request for biographical information stating that all the relevent material can be found in "Who's Who in America." Also included is the envelope in which this note was sent. Bierce writes to "Dear Neale" on 16 June 1912 relating to a change of address.
