Scope and Contents

Horman collected folklore surrounding the family tradition of wearing a great grandmother's lace veil when getting married. Included are descriptions of why wearing the veil became a tradition, how it was worn by each woman, and pictures of the women wearing the veil. The project was collected for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
