Scope and Contents

Materials include an essay by Troy Tessem based mainly on the accounts of two Latter-day Saint prisoners-of-war, one American, the other German named Matheson and Walter, respectively. The essay addresses how the veterans remained faithful, even though in many conditions it would have been easier just to give in. Other men's accounts are also included. Dated 2006.
