The best of breeds? : reflections on Pembroke Welsh Corgis, professional breeders, and why we love them / Kay McIntosh, 2009 June

 Item — Box: 361, Folder: 13
Identifier: FA 1 Item 4470

Scope and Contents note

This project discusses the Pembroke Welsh Corgis breed of dog and people's thoughts and feelings on things like what makes them a good breed of dog. The analysis discusses the collector's own experience with Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Also discusses the legends about the dog's origins, and the different characteristics that make some individuals believe they are the best breed of dog. Also discusses "backyard breeding" which the collector compares to irresponsibility. Items come from breeders, animal rescue service workers, and Pembroke Welsh Corgi owners about their beliefs and preferences to this particular breed. Collected by Kay McIntosh, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 391 class, Spring 2009.
