Scope and Contents note
This project is a collection of family food food lore in the Haws family. The analysis comments on the central role of food in American activity, how it illustrates identity and American regionalism, and the effect of meals on family structure. Also discusses the traditions of meal preparation, Sunday dinners, and how meal time has been the source of folklore for the family. Includes ten items collected from members of the Haws family. Collected by Kelli Haws, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
