Scope and Contents note
This project looks at Mormon wedding receptions and how they have evolved, claiming that many have returned to a grassroots movement. The analysis comments on societal messages about weddings, Latter-day Saint culture and beliefs, the basics of Mormon wedding receptions, and when disaster strikes a wedding. The item collection contains interviews with two informants discussing aspects of friends' and family's weddings, such as costs, activities, and decor. Contains nine items. Collected by Olivia Serafin, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 392 class, Fall 2008.
