A rose by any other name may not be a rose : how our names shape who we are / Karen M. Krueger, 2008
Scope and Contents note
This project takes a closer look at how names affect personal identity. The items collected are categorized into four sections: the meanings of the informants names according to the informant, the choice their parents made in naming them, the perceived influence of the name on the informants, and how the informants will pick their children's names in the future. The analysis claims that a name is a core part of one's identity. 35 items collected from 10 different informants. Collected by Karen M. Krueger, Dr. Thursby's ENGL 356 class, Fall 2008.
