This project discusses America's interest in dieting and documents specific diet routines as a type of American folklore. Items collected specify daily meal plans, foods not to be ingested in order to lose weight, protein drinks, Atkins diet, cabbage soup diet, and others. Collected by Kasia Ming, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 495 class, Winter 1999.
