Scope and Contents note
This project contains a collection of wedding disaster stories. The analysis discusses the belief that in weddings, something usually goes wrong. It comments on the universality of weddings for most women, the beliefs and values surrounding weddings, and the impact of crisis on a wedding. Stories include "The Chocolate Wedding Dress" "The Recalcitrant Ceiling" "The Secret of the Collapsing Cake" "The Case of the Missing Veil" "Frozen Flowers" and others. Collected by Kayleen Scott, Dr. Thursby's ENGL 495 class, Summer 2004.
