Scope and Contents note

This project contains the stories of first kisses among Mormon teens and young adults. The informants for this project come from the collector's family and fellow BYU, Provo, students. Analysis paper topics include: "History of Kissing," "The Origin," "Kissing Around the World," "Kissing Locations," "Kissing Traditions," "The Difference of Kissing in Utah," "The Collecting Begins," and "Strengths and Weaknesses." This 15 item collection includes the following experiences: kissed during a snow storm, kissed in front of friends, falling off the porch while kissing, sneaking kisses, kissing on Halloween, inviting a kiss, prom night kissing, father catching daughter kissing, embarrassed kiss, brothers both kissing the same girl on a trampoline, kissing in the woods, girl-initiated kiss, "peach fuzz" kiss, Collected by Mikall Anderson, Diedre Paulsen's ENGL 391 class, Spring 2008.
