Scope and Contents note
This project explores dating and engagement stories from a variety of Mormon perspectives. Analysis paper topics include: "How I Chose this Topic," "History of the Subject," "Methodology," and "Choosing the Format." This 15 item collection includes experiences about meeting at a concert, playing touch football together, camping trip, singing together in a choir, talking with General Authorities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about engagement decisions, woman proposing to the man, proposing at Temple Square, a dozen roses instead of a ring, and proposing with a $10 ring. Collected by Lyndsey Paulsen, Deidre Paulsen's ENGL 391 class, Spring 2008.
