Scope and Contents note

This project analyzes collected Army ROTC cadences at Brigham Young University, Provo. The collector states that the participants for this project are members of two overlapping folk groups: BYU students and Army ROTC cadets. This 15 item collection includes the following cadences: "Pebbles and Bam-Bam," "Left Left," "C-130," Left Right Kill," "Motivated," "Birdie Birdie," "Old Lady Ranger," "Airborne Mess Sergeant," "Hey Ladi Dadi," "Two Old Ladies," "When I Say One," "A is for Airborne," "Out Jumped then Ranger," "Rollin" and "Improvisation." Also included is an audio disc with these recorded cadences. Collected by Boyd Gunnell, Dr. Eric Eliason's ENGL 391 class, Winter 2005. Includes a compact disc.
