Scope and Contents note

This project contains narratives about accidents and minor calamities experienced by those participating in theater. The informants for this project are students from Brigham Young University, Provo. This 12 item collection contains the following stories: splinters, head injuries during South Pacific; falling in Annie; a foot getting caught in the stairs during Grease; set walls falling down in Crazy for You; broken dishes in Bull in a China Shop; throwing a real knife during Once on this Island; skirt falling off in Fools; and forgotten lines in A Christmas Carol. Collected by Megan Straw, Dr. Jacqueline Thursby's ENGL 396-001 class, Winter 2008.

Conditions Governing Access note

Privacy restricted until 2078 for interviews titled "South Pacific Disasters," "Caught in the Gap," "Broken Dishes,""Prop Placement," and "No Skirt"due to missing consent forms. Permission for access must be obtained by the Supervisor of Reference Services.
