Materials include photographs. Diana Thomson Frontis served in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps during World War II from 1944-1947. Served as a surgical supervisor at the US Naval Hospital in Corona, CA and Inyokern, CA and received the rank of Lt. JG. One photo standing in front of a memorial in Arlington for nurses who died while serving. One photo in front of a memorial to all women who served. One photo of Frontis in her Navy uniform. Photographs were collected as part of the Nurses at War Project. Dated approximately 1944-1947.
