Scope and Contents note

This project contains stories about what the informants most fear. The informant group consists of students from Brigham Young University, Provo, between the ages of twenty-one and twenty-eight. Analysis paper topics include "Physical Fears," and "Psychological Fears." This 15 item collection contains the following as "worst fears:" never find happiness, drowning, roller coasters, fear of the aged, closing eyes while driving, "wasting life," German Nazis, losing hands, mice, not marrying, dolls coming alive, ants, not obtaining Celestial glory with family, needles, and missing a rock concert. Collected by Becca Anderson, Dr. Jaqueline Thursby's unspecified folklore class, Winter 2008.
