Materials contain a brief summary of Koncz's military and nursing service (2003). She enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II from June to December 1945. Served at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, California and received the rank of Cadet. Discusses the training and exams that she had to pass. Also explains the types of patients that she worked with. Also included are photos of Gloria and her graduating class; Gloria and four other nurses (1945). Materials were collected as part of the Nurses at War Project. Dated 1945-2003.
