And the song remains the same : a collection of childhood songs / Kerri Brown, 2007
Scope and Contents note
Brown examines the importance of traditional songs for unification of relationships as well as a teaching tool in our society. She analyzes the problem our society is facing with the push to forget traditional songs and focus on songs sung by a few singers. Brown focuses on childhood songs, learning that what is contained in them tells a great deal about the culture and circumstance surrounding them. Created by Kerry Brown while enrolled in Kristi Young's English 391 course during winter semester 2007 at Brigham Young University.
