Huntsman discusses popular family stories about her father, Ralph Dean Steiner, and his childhood in a small, rural town during the 1930s. Huntsman categorizes her favorite stories including dry farm stories, living in town, life on the farm, stories of her father and his dog, little boy antics and school stories. Through these folkloric telling, Huntsman seeks to create a work that will help others learn about, laugh, and identify with Steiner. Created by Jill Huntsman while enrolled in English 391 during fall semester 1991.
