Service, sadness, and strength : personal stories from survivors of the Teton Dam disaster / Jennifer Thurston Reynolds, 2002
Scope and Contents note
Reynolds examines the stories from family members who survived the Teton Dam break on June 5, 1976. With historical, psychological, sociological and religious depth, the stories presented are intended to portray, through a folkloric story telling medium, the depth of human spirit experienced when ten tiny towns in Idaho experienced the awesome power of a flood. Created by Jennifer Thurston Reynolds while enrolled in Jacqueline Thursby's English 391 class during winter semester of 2002.
