Scope and Contents note

After addressing the story of Seth Dowell, a 21-year-old man from Utah who suffered from the same case of hiccups, McOmber analyzes popular hiccup remedies. In addition, McOmber examines how these common held beliefs influence, shape and entertain cultures. Created by Margaret McOmber while enrolled in Jacqueline Thursby's English 356 class during fall semester of 2003.
