The wide world of sports / Libbi Page, 2005 November 30
Scope and Contents note
Page examines the different warm-up techniques practiced by those participating in a range of sports. It is through researching these warm-ups that Page surmises that team and individual sports have different goals that the players work to achieve. Page also discusses that motivation, training and warm-ups are used differently in each to help athletes reach their desired goals. Aspects of team unity, learning and improvement of self through interaction with others, becoming a better leader and motivator, self discipline, and enhancement of focusing and concentrating skills are discussed. Created by Libbi Page while enrolled in Jill Rudy's English 391 course during fall semester of 2005.
