Harrison compares and contrasts the changing face of role models and heroes in American society with the admiration given to General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by the church's members. In addition, the nature of celebrity itself, is examined, particularly in relation to the diverging groups of Hollywood stars, professional athletes and General Authorities.
