Scope and Contents note

Schey analyzes the need, commonality and sources for marital advice for couples. To begin with, Schey gives a brief background on the importance of this advice both before and after marriage. Also, Schey examines the information she has been given by a sampling of various married couples, while surmising why women tend to seek out as well as give more counsel than their male counterparts. Finally, Schey expounds on several of the most reasons that couple seek out this advice, including relationship enhancement, preventative maintenance and recovery. Created by Linda G. Paulsen while enrolled in Jill Rudy's English 391 course during fall semester of 2005.
