Airborne paratrooper personal experience narratives and their folkloric associations / Todd Copper, 2006
Scope and Contents note
Cooper discusses the commonality amongst members of the United States Army Paratroopers. Such similarities include common experiences and even personalities, thus allowing members of this elite folk group to understand the stories of one another more fully. Focusing on jump stories, Cooper examines each of his informants as individuals, while bringing to light the many traditions of the U.S. Army. Created by Todd Cooper while enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 392 course during winter semester of 2006.
