Scope and Contents
File contains materials relating to Arthur O. Chapman and his service during World War II. Materials include a short biography, compilation of his letters sent home during the war and photographs. Letters touch on subjects such as his interaction with other LDS servicemen, his gratitude for being able to hold religious meetings (both LDS and Protestant), and his work in the labs, morale among his unit, his discharge, and his feelings for his wife. Photographs show Chapman with his LDS servicemen's group and with the choir in which he sang. Dated approximately 1942-2001.
