Materials contain the memoir of Max Pyne, detailing his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II as bugle master 3rd class on the U.S.S. West Virginia. He describes the initiation of those who were crossing the equator for the first time. He also describes the first attack by a Kamikaze pilot and several other sea battles. Dated approximately 2000.
