Materials contain papers of Kathryn Hiersche Walther regarding her service in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps from 1969-1975 and during the Gulf War from 1990-1991. Contains several photocopied newspaper articles about reservists departing for the Gulf War, two copies of targets that have been shot, poems, military documents, a copy of a calendar from January 1991, a map, papers about Muslims and Arabs, jokes, and Walther's account of her military experiences. Dated 1990-1991, 1990-2003.
