Materials contain an interview with Irene Carr regarding her service as a nurse in the U.S. Air Force from 1976-1978 and the U.S. Army during the Gulf War from 1990-1991. Interview was conducted as part of the Nurses at War Project. Bulk of text relates to her experiences in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Gulf War and her return to the United States. Also describes adjusting to civilian life again, becoming a midwife, and friendships that she kept with other nurses following the war. There is also a consent form signed by her brother, Bernard F. Carr. Dated 2003.
