Scope and Contents note

Material contains papers relating to the military service of Boyd Dean Williamson. Includes condensed autobiography detailing his military career, enlistment in the U.S. Navy during World War II, becoming a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, serving with the large air craft gun ships during the Vietnam War, and his retirement from the military. Photocopied photographs of Williamson are included in the folder, as well as an even more condensed version of his autobiography of his military career that reflects mainly his career in the U.S. Air Force. A newspaper clipping of an article detailing Williamson's experience after the bombing of Pearl Harbor is also included. Dated 1942-1968, approximately 2001.
