Jack Keith Woolsey papers, 1942-1945
Scope and Contents
Materials contain the military history of Jack Keith Woolsey regarding his service in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Cabot. He describes being a mechanic on the air craft and flying numerous missions. He also includes experiences that he had with this brothers who were on other Navy vessels. The history comes from excerpts of his diary. Also contains photographs of Woolsey, the U.S.S. Cabot, airplanes, the officers and crew of VP-31 air group, as well as a photocopy of Woolsey's discharge certificate. Dated 1942-1945.
