Materials contain papers of Steve McColley regarding his service as a nurse anesthetist in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War beginning in 1990 and Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2003 to September 2003. Contains an article about exercise and nutrition, an article from Nurse Week titled "In Harm's Way" about McColley and other CRNAs, photocopied journal entries written from March to June 2003, and McColley's account of his service in the Gulf War. Discusses his assignment at 328 General Hospital in West Germany during the Gulf War and his assignment in Iraq. He describes his church involvement while in the military. Materials were collected as part of the Nurses at War Project. Dated 2003, 2004.
