Material contains a transcribed interview with Ashley Hall conducted in 2002. Describes his service with the Utah National Guard and the Nevada National Guard as the state chaplain after the Korean War and during the Cold War. Talks about helping a friend fulfill his responsibility as commander of a new army unit by implemeningt a highly publicized training program to prevent his friend from being fired. Discusses the collapse of the Soviet Union and says that every little thing the National Guard did helped. Dated November 22, 2002.
