Scope and Contents note

Materials contain papers relating to Robert Charles Burr's service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Includes a copy of Burr's discharge record, as well as photographs of planes and Burr, a copy of a letter written to soldiers by President Truman, and a photocopy of a newspaper clipping that briefly describes Burr's fifth flight over Germany and Austria. Also contains a brief memoir about the gospel in his life and how it has blessed him. Dated 1945-1946, approximately 2001.
