Material contains papers relating to the military service of Boyd R. Lemon during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. File contains several pages of photocopied photographs, as well as a memoir relating Lemon's experiences. Describes his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, training in communication, and the blessing of not having to serve in either war. Lemon's wife, Tess, also included her stories of volunteering at the local hospital to help the wounded soldiers. Includes a memoir of her experiences during the war and letters she received from the parents of soldiers she cared for. Dated 1951-2002.
