Scope and Contents note
Materials include copies of letters and personal documents relating to Dennis Egley's military service during the Korean War. He writes of several experiences he had when God answered prayers while in the service. Records combat missions and targets during the Korean War as a pilot on a B-29 Superfortress. He includes a picture of his flight crew and also a magazine intended for many to read about the surrender of Japan. Contains combat notes from World War II aboard the U.S.S. Dorsey DMS 1 of minesweeping and copies of letters written to and from Dennis. Dated 1944-1946, approximately 1952, 2000-2001.
