Contains letters and information on author and BYU professor Leslie Norris, including a letter from Thayer nominating him for the Karl G. Maeser Distinguished Faculty Lecturer Award, a funeral order of service, and printed news articles on Norris’s life. Also contains three syllabi from the courses taught by Douglas H. Thayer (English 150, English 318R, and English 359) and a copy of Thayer’s curriculum vitae. File also includes a draft of the piece “Crow Basin,” as well as emails from others with their reactions to various stories written by Thayer, and transcripts and notes relating to talks and speeches given by Thayer. Includes talks given at funerary services, church meetings, and classes, as well as more professional speeches. Dated cirac 1976-2011.
