Scope and Contents
Letter from George Q. Cannon to Martha Telle Cannon. George Q. Cannon's first concern in the letter is that Amelia's eyes are becoming crooked. He describes his plans for the holidays, to travel and meet Elizabeth in Chicago or Omaha. Also described is a trip to Philadelphia to see the Centennial Buildings and attend a first-class banquet with the president, the cabinet, and Supreme Court judges. Last, George Q. Cannon expresses a desire for Congress to get back to business after the holidays. He is not worried about an unfavorable outcome because he knows that the Lord will take care of him.
