Farrell Smith papers, approximately 1968-2003
Scope and Contents note
Material includes personal papers regarding Farrell Smith's time as a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Includes copies of an interview transcription, briefly telling of his time as a chaplain, as well as a newspaper article and film about when his chapel was hit and burned to the ground and he was wounded. Many photocopied photographs are also included, as well as a CD-ROM with footage oringinally shot on 8mm film of the chapel burning and the aftermath. Also included is a copy of a certificate awarding him the Airman's medal, for heroism. Dated approximately 1968-2003.
