Scope and Contents

Materials contain a short response to the Saints At War questionnaire, describing Reed L. Clegg's civilian activities prior to the war, enlistment, military duties, living conditions, support received from his family, contact with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints during the war, memorable combat experiences, and feelings on war. Also contains photographs showing Clegg in full military dress as well as those showing his crews and ships. Dated approximately 1942-1945 and 2000-2001.
